ReplyDeleteAt f28 the lens makes noise as it hunts At f56 and higher the lens makes less noise as it doesnt hunt to focus as much However if you get an external mic like a Rode Video Micro it helps cut the lens noise There are other STM lenses like the 50mm STM f18 and the 40mm STM f28 I like the 24mm f28 the best of them all for video
